Choosing a Wedding Song

The wedding song that both you and your fiancé choose should be a song that is a reflection of you both as a couple.  This song is most commonly used as a “first dance” song, though you can also use it as you proceed down the aisle after the ceremony if you don’t plan on having a wedding song.

For the Guests: When to Dance?

Some guests have been embarrassed to discover that the first few songs were not intended for them dance to, which causes them to retreat the dance floor rather quickly in embarrassment.  The general rule is that the first two songs are reserved for the bride and groom, and then the bride and her father.  Pay close attention to what’s going on.  If they do invite guests up on the dance floor, then by all means join right on in!
