Top Bachelor Party Ideas

So your buddy is about to tie the knot and you want to give him one last opportunity to just be himself, an unattached single guy out on the town.  There are fortunately a lot of ways you can have fun with this soon to be ex-bachelor, and to maybe humiliate him a bit along the way.  Here are some of the best ways you can throw a bachelor party for the groom-to-be:

Gambling

The most exciting way to start a bachelor gambling party is to invite the groom and his friends out to either Las Vegas or Atlantic City, depending on whether you are on the West or East coast (or if you are on a different continent, think about the ‘gambling capitals’ in your area).  Nothing beats a quick trip to these renowned gambling cities.  The slot machines, the girls, the lively night life and the best food available to you 24/7 – not to mention a ton of free alcohol that will undoubtedly loosen the groom right on up definitely makes these locations a great choice for bachelor parties.  You can book a cheap flight to any gambling destination for later at night, book some rooms at a cheaper hotel, party hard and leave the next day if necessary (or stay a day or two extra to give the groom a chance to recover).

Yacht Trips

Guys seem to love the open area and open waters, so why not rent out a yacht for one night for your best friend?  You may need to provide the drinks, but you can hire on a catering service to serve appies or even a full course meal if you want to.  Make sure you buy some bottles of champagne so that you can really toast your groom in style!

Cigars

The classic way of celebrating a bachelor’s upcoming wedding is to take him out for some fine cigars.  This can either be a separate event, or you can incorporate it into one of your pre-existing bachelor party plans.

Golfing

If your best bud is a golfer, then taking him out for a day of golfing is a dream come true.  The best part is that his bride-to-be can’t say no!  A great follow up to a day of golfing is a great dinner at a steakhouse, eat like the kings you are and then follow up with a night on the town if the groom isn’t too exhausted from the golfing.

Rave

Should the groom be a fan of the club scene and dancing, then take him out for a whole night rave extravaganza!  He can dance his heart out and harmlessly dance with other girls (no touching!) while he’s still single.  If you are going to visit a local club, inquire about their VIP rooms and any VIP services. Nothing will blow the mind of your groom more than having champagne brought up to him while he sits in the VIP room of his all-time favorite club!  The only drawback to this is that it can get rather pricey, so don’t feel bad about asking the other groomsmen to chip in a bit prior to planning a bachelor party.
