If you are the maid of honor or one of the bridesmaids, you are probably scratching your head and trying to come up with a fun bachelorette party idea for your bride-to-be. Here are some ideas that modern brides are doing these days that are a bit more creative than dancing the night away at a club or visiting a strip club:
The Camp Out
If you have a bride-to-be who loves the great outdoors, grab your sleeping bags, your tent and some marshmallows to roast and set off on a great camping adventure! Camping with the entire bridal party will allow you ladies to get some rest and relaxation, and nothing is more fun than gossiping and making wedding plans right next to an open fire.
If you want to keep it a little bit less “outdoorsy”, rent a cabin in the woods and enjoy your little getaway together.
The Spa Day
Who doesn’t like to be pampered? Arrange for a day or two away at a fancy spa in town or a short while away. If you arrange this close enough to the wedding day, then the entire bridal party can get their nails done, their toes done, waxed, and even get a well deserved massage after all of that stressful wedding planning.
Check into a few different spas that the bride may be interested in and look into if there are any group discount rates, and see what sort of packages they have available.
TIP: If your bride does want to go dancing or do something in the evening, having a spa day is the perfect way to kick off the bachelorette party.
The Pajama Party
So what if you haven’t been to a sleep over since you were 13 years old? Throw a sophisticated pajama party with delicious cocktails, sweet treats, and tons of great girlie movies that you know everyone is going to love. Throw in some sexy lingerie presents and gag gifts for the bride, and she is sure to have a good time.
The Tea Party
So your bride doesn’t want to be up at all hours of the night partying away. Then it may be a good idea to throw a bachelorette tea party for the most stately bride. You can arrange a bachelorette tea party at your home or that of one of the bridesmaids, or you can find a restaurant with a garden court to have it at. Make sure there are plenty of tasty tiny sandwiches, tea, and delectable desserts and your party is sure to be a hit!
The Fun Park Party
If you happen to be fortunate enough to have a theme park or an amusement park nearby, why not plan to have the bachelorette party for the bride who loves a good thrill? Arrange to have a limo swing by the bride-to-be’s place and head off for a day of roller coasters, merry-go-rounds and fun games. Make sure you load up on the amusement park fare, like corn dogs and cotton candy!
