As in most bridal parties, the bachelorette party is left on the shoulders of the maid of honor and/or her bridesmaids. Before you begin stressing about what to do and how you’re going to pull the whole thing off, here are some things you can consider doing for your bride for her bachelorette party:
Spa Weekends
Who doesn’t love the spa? The spa is a great way for everyone to unwind after all of this wedding planning, and will be appreciated by the wedding party and friends alike. You will be eating the healthiest of foods, have your pores cleaned, can maybe go in for a waxing treatment and enjoy a massage. Mud wraps, manicures, pedicures… you name it, and the spa can do it. This is a particularly great idea if you plan it within a week of the wedding. Most bridesmaids and friends will be able to “pretty themselves up” during this spa visit for the wedding.
Casino Parties
You can always joke that marriage is a gamble – it’s about a 50/50 draw anyways for most Western countries! Take the bride out for a nice dinner and then hit up the casino for some hard gambling if this is something that she enjoys to do. You can also book a show for later in that evening, as well as rooms for all of the guests. Gambling parties usually include free drinks, which can help cut down on costs for everyone – as long as they don’t lose too much at the tables!
Night Club
Night clubs and discos are by far the most popular for the younger brides out there. If you have gone to a night club on a Friday or Saturday night recently, chances are you have seen that “bride-to-be” wearing white clothes and a veil in the club. If your bride is the “dancing queen” wannabe and loves the night life, then having her go out to a club after a nice dinner is a no-brainer. Try to make it a themed party though, such as 70’s disco inferno night or 80’s tacky spectacular.
Karaoke
Some brides just love to let loose, and if you are the maid of honor, you undoubtedly know this one already. If you have a bride who loves to sing, take her out to a karaoke bar and encourage all of the guests to sing along with their own songs. Guests can dedicate songs to the bride, the groom, or to whoever they choose. The bride will appreciate not being the only one making a fool out of herself that night (for once).
Coffee and Tea
This is a good idea for the more subdued bride who isn’t into being humiliated, or who doesn’t want to do dancing. Have all of the girls over for coffee, tea and appies and talk about the upcoming nuptials. These parties usually don’t involve any sort of lewd games or props that other more traditional bachelorette parties may. Ask the bride what she would like to do prior to buying any food and props for her special day.

Great post!
Something else to consider when picking the theme is that you need to factor in savings time. Give the invited guests enough time to save up some money if necessary. Especially when you’re going for something like a spa day. If you’re too close to the date already, consider going for a lower cost activity.
